Do you ever ponder what came before, what is happening now and what will occur tomorrow?
Mavericks, Trailblazers and Innovators are what I am particularly grateful for as they provide inspiration to become a better person, leave the planet a better place than when I arrived and what I can accomplish before I close my eyes permanently. How about you?
Let's take Innovators
An innovator is someone that improves or revolutionizes an industry. They introduce new ideas, methods and products. Innovators are creative, problem- solvers and risk takers. They push boundaries of what is possible. They are key to progress, driving change and shaping the future with entirely new ways of thinking or doing things.
Pioneer Women Trailblazers
A trailblazer is someone who is the first to do something or leads the way for others to follow. Unchartered territory, breaking new ground and leaders who inspired other to follow in their footsteps
Amelia Earhart - talk about a passion for adventure! She was instrumental supporter of women's rights. Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for her solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean. Inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame.
American frontierswomen, sharpshooters and storytellers: Calamity Jane and Annie Oakley.
Women Mavericks
A maverick refers to someone who is independent-minded and unconventional. Often times willing to go against the grain of established norms and traditions.
s. Sacagawea was a Lemhi Shoshone woman best known for her expedition with Lewis and Clark through the territory of Louisiana Purchase. She traveled from North Dakota to the Pacific Ocean with the explorers.
Susan B. Anthony played a pivotal role in the women's suffrage movement that became the 19the Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Louisa May Alcott worked to support her family through financial difficulties at an early age and managed to write "Little Women" one of the most famous novels in American history.
What contributions remain? How will we overcome evil versus good in the coming years? Exciting times ahead is my prediction. Will you sit on the sidelines or choose to participate in your cause?
I am glad we have our freedom to embrace and inspire the next generation to become better citizens.
