Katerina Gasset - is this the Mount Washington Hotel in NH? The location reminds me of it but if it's true, didn't have a red roof? I spent five years in Maine and New Hampshire a long time ago. I have very special memories of North Conway and Mount Washington.

Thank you for your comment and for sharing your memories of North Conway and Mount Washington. The Mount Washington Hotel, located in Bretton Woods, NH, is renowned for its Spanish Renaissance Revival architecture and distinctive red roof, designed to mimic Spanish tile roofs.

The Grand Summit Hotel at Attitash, situated at 104 Grand Summit Road in Bartlett, NH, offers accommodations with mountain views and is conveniently located near Attitash Mountain Resort.

While both hotels are in the White Mountains region, they are distinct properties with unique histories and architectural styles.
