Welcome December! The Holiday season is certainly in full swing with no time to stop, as we just celebrated Thanksgiving 3 days ago.
As we close out 2024, real estate remains active. Buyers and sellers are poised to make their move, optimistic that the economy will improve, interest rates will settle in somewhere between 5% - 6%, and home prices will increase at the normal 2% - 3% annual rate as it has been over the past 40 years. Inquiries on my listings continue with potential buyers even asking if I have any homes for sale not in the MLS (pocket listings). My current inventory is primarily vacant land listings as well as a fantastic lease opportunity - reach out to me for details on any of these!
If you are considering selling, be it a condominium or single-family residence, or if you are contemplating downsizing a larger real estate investment, this is a good time. Keep in mind that portfolio buyers are also looking for income properties. Like most of us, some potential sellers are busy with Holiday festivities and preparations so you may have a bit less competition with other sellers. Like I always say, the serious Buyers are always out there.
