Miss Out? It's Your Own Asphalt!
Betsie consistently struggled with decisions, didn't matter whether it was restaurant choice, what to wear, which grocery store to use, what to wear and especially when home shopping. She was often late to work because of her inability to use conviction to drive daily outcomes.
A country cottage became available, she was giddy, excited with the possibilities of growing a garden on the backyard plot, attaching planter boxes overflowing with flowers to all the windows and creating a path of brightly colored flowers leading up to the front door.
Sun-filled rooms, professionally decorated, boasting hardwood floors, wood siding and new asphalt tile roof with gables also added value with a back rock patio, front porch, Located in a rural setting, outside of city noise and congestion, a true backyard paradise.
The alluring exterior captivated with green and white detailing. It had been some time since anyone lived there, the interior was still in pristine condition. Though the home suited her every want and need, niggling doubts came creeping in, gnawing away at every thought.
After several days of giving it much thought, she contacted a local, experienced real estate agent to discuss making an offer. After 6 revisions, she was ready to sign and send it. Unfortunately for her, the owner accepted an offer while she was dilly-dallying!
The storybook setting could have been her happily ever after but Betsie was bested by a buyer who was resolute, rather than unsure.
And it was her own asphalt!!
