Real Estate Advice- If You Are Worried, tell your agent

Real estate is a people business. While there are systems in place, each cog in the machine has a human behind it. As a real estate professional, one of my jobs is to keep the client informed every step of the way. 

Sometimes as agents we (read I) forget that clients don't buy and sell homes on a regular basis. With home owners sticking at the same address longer, they can forget the normal "turbulence" transactions have. 

And just like airplane turbulence, most is harmless to the passenger. About a year back I had a seller breath a massive sigh of relief after a late in the day Monday closing. When I asked what was wrong he mentioned something he had read online over the weekend. 

Instead of reaching out on Saturday, he kept this problem to himself ALL WEEKEND. A three minute call would have let him know that our transaction did not contain that type of drama. He worried for nothing, and that makes me sad. 

Part of our job is to answer questions and brainstorm solutions to any issues that come up.
