Are You Selling in 2025?

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Evolution - 447 Boston Street, Suite #5, Topsfield, MA 92593-B

So, you're thinking of selling your home in 2025. What are you going to do to prepare it? Should I paint, do a major/minor remodel, or do nothing?

Whatever you do, Start Early. By starting early you'll give yourself plenty of time to get the house market ready.

In my opinion, the first thing you'll want to place on your to-do list is, to contact your local Realtor® and decide who'll want to partner with. Then discuss the steps for preparing your home for your market. Your goal is to get the best price and to be competitive.

The key is, don't wait until the last minute to prepare your home for the 2025 market. Being prepared will give you more time to look for that new home.

How To Get Your House Ready To Sell in 2025

Some Highlights

  • If you’re planning to list your house in 2025, it’s already time to start working on any repairs. But where do you start?
  • Your local agent will be able to help you prioritize projects that will help you get the best return on your investment and appeal to what today’s buyers really want.
  • If your goal is to sell your house next year, connect with an agent so you know what to start working on now.

Doug, so many NEED to paint, but choose not to, and usually is a mistake.  Great graphic.

Good morning Doug,

I like your post to those thinking of selling in 2025. I've been going on appointments for those thinking of selling in the first quarter of 2025. I'm feeling we are going to have a strong first quarter in 2025!

It is my opinion we are finally nearing normalization of the Reaal Estate markets. Inventory is moving up interest rates are in a more normal range. The next few year will be interesting

When someone is ready to sell, they should sell because it is the right time for them to sell!

I agree with that Brian England. Forced sales are not fun.
