Why El Camino in Boca Raton is My Go-To Sunday Spot

If you’re looking for the perfect way to spend a sunny Sunday in Boca Raton, let me let you in on a little secret: El Camino is my go to place. Whether you’re in the mood for amazing Mexican food, refreshing drinks, or for good vibes, this spot definitely delivers!

Sunday Funday Done Right

There’s just something about sitting outside at El Camino, with the beautiful weather, the energy of football on the TVs, and a drink in hand that makes the weekend feel special. I really enjoyed it with friends and also a place you can experience solo. Their outdoor bar setup is really nice, lively but laid-back. It's the kind of place where you don't think about time.

Drinks That Hit the Spot

Let’s talk happy hour.  El Camino, it’s not just good, it’s great. Starting at just $6, their happy hour drinks are a steal. And can we talk about the Spicy Watermelon Habanero Margarita for a second? It’s a top favority of mine. Sweet, spicy, and refreshing, it’s the perfect drink on a sunny afternoon. Whether you’re team spicy, non alcoholic drink or just want a margarita, this one’s a must-try.

Appetizers You Can’t Resist

Now, pair that margarita with some appetizers, and you’ve got yourself a winning combo. Their brisket quesadillas? Absolute perfection of a cheesy, savory, and loaded with tender brisket. And don’t even get me started on the chips and salsa. Warm, crispy chips and salsa so flavorful I order at almost every visit . Plus, the prices are super reasonable, so you can snack guilt-free while you cheer on your team.

Why El Camino is a Boca Favorite

  • Affordable Happy Hour: Drinks starting at $6 mean you can indulge without breaking the bank.
  • Delicious Appetizers: From brisket quesadillas to classic chips and guac, there’s something for everyone.
  • Unbeatable Atmosphere: Whether you’re catching a game or catching up with friends, the outdoor bar is the place to be.
  • All-around Fun: It’s the kind of spot where the food, drinks, and vibe all come together perfectly.

The next time you’re wondering where to spend your Sunday or any day, stop by El Camino in Boca Raton. Grab a margarita, order some apps, and let the good times roll. You’ll probably see me there, doing exactly the same thing. 🌮🍹

What are some fun places you like to go to?

Cheers to Sunday funday at EL Camino.

Kind regards,

Jill Kravitz

I have to put El Camino on my visit list Jill. Here in Phoenix I love Valle Luna, old but seriously good Mexican food. The locals flock to it. Jeff

You will enjoy El Camino Jeff.
I am sure Valle Luna is the real Mexican experience.  I will put that on my visit list for Scottsdale.  I know friends who loved going to college in Arizona.

Hello Jill - the "best" of anything is likely to draw a difference of opinion.  And this seems especially true when it comes to something as personal as choosing a dining out selection of venue.  That said, you provide some excellent reasons why selecting El Camino in Boca Raton Florida.  It works well for you for many reasons when it comes to Mexican restaurant experiences in the area.

That seems like a really good go-to spot on Sundays!  I grew up on Mexican food, but rarely eat it these days, haha.

Good morning Wayne, it's nice to get familiar with local places in the community. I like restaurants where you can be inside or outside to enjoy the experience.  Good luck with finding your favorite local places.
