I always enjoy reading Motivational Monday. The one about Coach Saben is awesome. Staying grounded where one's feet are is how to stay in the moment; we only have the moment, the past is gone, the future is unknown.  Thanks for sharing.

Such a good point. Young people especially seem to live in a dream world that they somehow think needs to move faster. Slow down and enjoy...it will go quickly enough.

Now that is a great question. And something I work so hard to improve.

Kathy, haven't heard of him, but he has excellent advice.  Be in the moment!

Nick Saban is one of those guys I loved to hate because he wasn't the coach of my team, haha.  He seems like such a great guy though, so he is really hard to hate and he is doing a great day on College Gameday.

Kathy this is so spot on!  Gary and I taught leadership and life success seminars when we first met and we called this concept - Be in THIS MOMENT!  Like you said, what can I do now to make things better, improve etc etc. And then of course.....Just Do It!  And I remember back in my high school and college team days the coach would say......especially for tennis.....where are your feet?  Watch your feet.....calm down, relax and KNOW your follow through will hit the mark. Worked for golf too!

Your post reminds me how important it is to be present in all things. Sometimes, we tend to get ahead of ourselves, at least I do at times, Kathy. Great reminder for everyone!
