Introducing the Pantone Color of the Year 2025: Mocha Mousse

Maybe it's me, but every time I've seen this it seems to have pink tones that I'm not liking.  We've seen builders using it already with cream colored trim.

Hello Dorie - not only does each year bring interesting choices for color honors but the description can be useful (and sometimes, entertaining) when it comes to marketing.  Dare I say, the 2025 selection sounds "delicious".  

I am not sure I love this color. I think maybe it will grow on me (maybe maybe maybe...lol).

I am sure there will be some creative uses of this color. I do not know where we would use it in our home.

I seem to recall this was a thing about 25 years ago. I guess everything old becomes new again... eventually.

Dorie I prefer the grays to the browns, but I like this shade.

It's a nice color Dorie Dillard Austin TX but I like my walls BRIGHT and this would not cut it for me. 

Hi Dorie- it's always fun to see what color will be chosen Of course, it helps when used in the right setting and lighting. I'm not a brown anything person but who knows!!

Hello Dorie and I wonder if I should repaint my home office this year but not sure.  Will have to check out all the new colors.

Dorie, this may be the color of the year, but is too dark for any of my walls.  

That is a rich-toned color that can turn a blah space into bold and beautiful! Makes me want a cafe latte now, Dorie.

I saw this online somewhere but am not sure about it. Not that I don't like chocolate. It will be interesting to see if it starts appearing everywhere where people want to be trendy. It's not my thing.

Dorie Dillard Austin TX  I am always annoyed when they whoever the "they" are and decide what the sheep should be painting their space.... now with that said I remember Avocado green refrigerators and lemon-yellow kitchen appliances so that is where my hostility comes from and that was at leas five decades ago:)Endre

Hmm, it's no surprise to me that I don't care much for the color they have chosen, haha.

Mocha Mousse is a good color to choose for the 2025 Pantone Color of the Year.

Yes, this can work very well as an accent wall.  I have also seen this and similar tones in many printables and stickers.
