Is Mistletoe Even A Thing Anymore?

On the surface I admit that I did not like this cartoon by my son, it made me uneasy. HOWEVER reflecting on the time of year and Romans 16:16 I am put at ease.

In consideration of the explanation above and the accompanying scripture from Romans, a kiss on the cheek from a brother or sister in mutual love with the Savior sounds pretty good to me. I can say in confidence that all of my immediate family, and the bulk of our extended family, are all like minded in our faith thus a kiss under the mistletoe should be a kiss of joy and not an uncomfortable moment (on the cheek).

Enjoy your family with a kiss under the mistletoe.

Funny enough, Tammy ordered three mistletoe balls this year.  One for her parents house, one for our daughter's house and one for ours.  But I already kiss her goodnight every night.

If the mood strikes me (when it's appropriate), I'm not waiting to find some mistletoe to give someone a kiss. And, I wouldn't kiss someone just because they are under the mistletoe.  😂

About all the shopping I do anymore is at the hardware store or at thrift stores Dorie Dillard Austin TX . If I spot it anywhere it would most likely be at the thrift store.
