Friday Fun…It Has Begun!
Pardon my flour! For more years than I can remember, I’ve been making dozens of small carrot-raisin cakes at Christmas and giving them to friends and family.

When I started I had to hand grate the carrots. Food processors may have been out but I didn’t have one. It was a chore to grate 3 cups for just one recipe…I usually made at least 5 batches!
Now, Larry and I begin our cookie making. We have our favorites…spritz cookies…that we always make first. We’ve made 200 of them…so far. I’ve made 2 batches of chocolate bark and 8 of the carrot-raisin cakes.

Yet to be made are sugar cookies, Mexican wedding cookies, Chocolate Crinkles and Holiday Biscotti. If we have time, we may make gingerbread cookies.
What about you…do you do any holiday baking??
What’s your favorite Christmas cookie?
