We usually make 4 different kinds of cookies and mini carrot raisin cakes. This year instead of fudge, I’m making chocolate bark. I’m using dark and white chocolate…some with toasted pistachios and dried cranberries and some more kid-oriented with marshmallows, M&M’s, and Animal Crackers.

One cookie baking task neither one of us enjoys is decorating cut out sugar cookies. You know..the cute cookie in the shape of a Christmas tree.
One year we frosted the cookies and tried “decorating” them. I can see now why those beautifully decorated cookies cost upwards of $4-6 a piece.
