Photo Journalism of Autumn Leaves 12/14, 15 & 16
The feature photos show leaves of color in Flower Mound, Texas taken on Friday, December 14th with blue skies and full leaves of Autumn colors. Leaves were just beginning to fall to the earth. By Saturday morning things began to look different.
On Saturday before noon the skies were blue and bright with sun beginning to shine brightly. I was on my way to Market Street to pick up groceries. An array of color greeted me before getting to the grocery store.
Driving back home from Market Street the temperature dropped, and it got cloudy once more. There were more leaves on the ground and the orange and golden leaves were just beautiful! Cooler weather doesn't seem to bother me when Autumn leaves sparkle with their own colors.
Sky changes rapidly in Fall weather and by Saturday late afternoon there were still plenty of green trees and green grass.
What a difference one day makes. By Sunday morning I saw fewer crimson leaves and about the same cloudy skies. Some people had more green grass than others.
I saved the best for the last of Autumn Trees in Flower Mound, Texas. To leaf through my Flower Mound neighborhood creates rewards unmatched compared to other parts of the United States. Mother Nature has the perfect way to match colors before winter in the south. It's still partly cloudy this Monday morning but the discovery of Autumn leaves is simply amazing! Until next time, cherish your day!
