Hmm, I am not sure what it even means to have a human right.  What rights are we born with and cannot be taken away?  It seems that "man" takes all "rights" away from each other when they want to, haha.

Human rights are the rights that all people have by nature, regardless of their: race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, and other status.
Some examples of human rights include:

    • The right to life and liberty
    • Freedom from slavery and torture
    • Freedom of opinion and expression
    • The right to work and education
    • The right to a fair trial
  • The right to privacy
Human rights are codified in international agreements called conventions or covenants. These treaties establish standards for human rights and mechanisms to monitor their implementation.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948. It was the first international legal effort to limit the behavior of states and ensure they fulfill their duties to their citizens.
