Think you know where the biggest tree in Gaithersburg lives? We want to see it! Our Environmental Services Division is on a mission to find Gaithersburg's biggest and most remarkable trees — and we need your help. Old trees play a crucial role in storing carbon, providing shade to reduce heat islands, managing stormwater, and creating habitats for a wide of variety of wildlife. Help us celebrate these gentle giants and their contributions to our environment.

I have seen some big trees in my day and I am always impressed by them and how long they have likely been around and flourishing.
