Fairview, TN's Crown Jewel
Not every community can boast about an 840 acre nature park with trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding in it's very center, but Fairview can! People come from miles around to enjoy the fishing lakes, all-green nature center, picnic pavilions, and children's playground featuring wooden forts, swings, slides and quiet areas for Moms and Dads to watch. Bowie Park is a special place, free to Williamson County residents, and open to anyone willing to pay a nominal use charge (honor system, of course).
A bedroom community for the most part, Fairview is the last affordable area in Williamson County and is on its way to being a BIG "little town." Citizens anxiously await the completion of I-840 which will connect to state Hwy. 100 on the western edge of Fairview, and go through Lieper's Fork, Franklin, Murfreesboro, to Lebanon at I-40 E. (It's already open from Fairview to I-40 W at Dickson and makes a huge difference in travel time for folks on the Eastern side of Hickman County, and the Western side of Fairivew.)
Located just 26 miles from downtown Nashville, you can feel the stress of the day falling away as you near home. Fairview has award winning Williamson County schools, new developments offering all the bells and whistles like underground utilities, sidewalks, granite counter tops, hardwood floors, all brick facades AND large 1/2 - 5 acre lots for a small fraction of what you would pay in other areas of Williamson County.
Come for a visit, and stay for a lifetime. You'll never be disappointed in that decision--I know I wasn't, 'cause I've been here for over 30 years!
