It's that time of year when many people make a resolution or two for the new year. Right off the bat naysayers do their best to discourage us saying things like 99% of those resolutions are are broken in a week. I believe the number I heard on the radio today was the bulk of the resolutions are broken in 5 weeks. I actually see that as fairly positive. Good intentions lasting 5 weeks sounds pretty good to me.
Struggling with resolutions certainly can bring about a large gamut of emotions. Elation when we are successful to depression when we fail.
I have no idea if Joe will succeed in his resolution to move out the old to make room for the new but my hats off to him for making the effort... at least he's got some stuff boxed up. I've made that same resolution for the last three years or more BUT my plan has been to have a rummage sale and I've failed all three years without even taking the first step.
I do have several other resolutions for the next year starting with improving my attitude in ALL things and to do more to build my faith so that I may move mountains of obstacles that keep me from being the best man I can be. Keeping it REAL, Man.
