Each year on New Year's Eve I do some things to energetically clear out the old year and welcome the new:
I use this final day of the year to remove anything I do not want, need or use to donate!
Pick up and straighten up inside and outside my home. Move 27 things around to stimulate new energy.
Vacuum every possible dust bunny in my entire home. Use the leaf blower on the outside!
File everything in my office that needs filing.
Clear out emails that are no longer needed or have been responded to - the original's in the email anyway.
One of my favorite CCIM instructors has a practice in her office that if they have had a really problematic client, they fire them on NYE so they are not taking them into the coming year. I don't have any of those, but we did give a problem tenant notice this past week!
Just think in terms of: This is your chance to purify yourself and your environment for new blessings to flow in!
Then, a complete floor wash using a few drops of prosperity oil with my cleaning solution. You can use frankincense, lavender, rosemary, cinnamon or patchouli or any essential oil you particularly love.
And . . . front and back doors open for a few minutes before going to bed. (At my age I rarely stay up to see the ball drop, midnight is the traditional 'moment' to let all the old out and the new in! But intent is all.)
I also bring in a new plant between the Winter Solstice and today, and place it where it will be sure to flourish, as I want my coming year to.
Do you have rituals and practices for year's end?
