ActiveRain’s January 2025 Challenge is Planning for Success.
Specifically: What planning actions are you taking this month to ensure a thriving business in the year ahead?
Planning for the upcoming year is very important to set yourself up for success when you are in a business like ours.
Last year was a tough one personally for me, with the death of my mother on the second to last day of 2023, and having to handle her estate from afar in 2024, including traveling for her funeral, and two trips to clean out her house to sell.
I generally like to follow up with select past clients with little goodies throughout the year. It helps me to catch up with them and remind them of how much their referrals mean to me and my business.
With what I had to handle in 2024, I didn't do deliveries.
So in my focus on marketing to past clients, I want to get back to doing these small touches.
I already have plans for 4 different items to deliver throughout the year, and may add more if time (and creativity) allows.
Here's to a healthy, happy and successful 2025.
