Hello Roy - having any pet join your family is a lifetime commitment. It seems so simple but this concept is apparently one that is lost on far too many. I know animal shelters have many tales of woe, but I believe responsibility is a key. Sorry, just another pet peeve of mine especially as the spring season is about to arrive.
