The Pondering Path of Planning

Love the images. Was that you as a toddler with the glasses pondering math formulas Michael Jacobs ?

A plan in progress...or in my case, SO MANY plans in progress. That little voice in my head is never silent. Staying busy is many times my way of reducing the anxiety.

Michael, never been a planner, other than maybe planning for a post here and there!

Hello Michael and thank you for sharing your blog with us here in the Rain and was in hopes of seeing something from you with the fires out there.

Michael I was so happy to see another Pondering post from you when I popped on AR! You always do a fantastic job of helping all of us to stop, consider, and reflect and this post has done that once again.I am more than grateful for all the pondering paths I've taken in the rain since 2006.  None of us knew 'really' where we were headed with it and perhaps some still don't.  I don't know.  I just know I'm glad I am a member  and continue to be on now that I have retired from RE.

Michael Jacobs You certainly have your eye on what is happening in the community. You also have a fresh and unique perspective of voicing your opinion that makes me smile. I do however miss your walk- abouts they were the bests .I do enjoy you ponderings they are special :)

Definitely good points to ponder. Having a plan is more often "fluid" than set in stone for sure.

I do think pondering has a place in the planning process whilst one thinks through goals, and strategies.

Hi Michael- your word-smithery and pondering have given us much food for thought. So much so that carving out pondering time has become a habit for many. I look at myself as a life in progress, which is better, to me, than the alternative.

I admire your unwavering commitment to ActiveRain. Personally, I've struggled to stay connected with the community as real estate is no longer my passion. But seeing your posts and interactions with others reminds me of the positive impact this platform can have.

I guess that's why I haven't seen much of you the last few years. I retired 4 years ago and haven't been on here much lately but do like to check in every now and then to see how everyone is doing. I hope all is well with you and you are not being affected with these fires. It's very sad to see what is going on. 

There’s a deep spiritual aspect and meditative aspect to all that when you get at that level that I really like.

When I hear the word ponder, I no longer think of Winnie the pooh - I think of you Michael Jacobs Health challenges can change your life in a nano second.  How we respond to it makes us stronger human beings.  Glad you recovered and always enjoy your pondering here in the Rain my friend.😎

We ponder, analyze, adjust, observe, repeat the cycles and decide how we can best interact with ActiveRain and get the results we want.  For some it works, for some it doesn't.

Yes Michael, The A/R community is a vibrant mix with unique reasons for being involved. It’s there for anyone to decide how to use it. For sure...A Plan in Progress!

Your thought patterns are always so peaceful and methodical.  Your POV challenges me to consider pausing and carefully thinking about the path ahead.
