“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your soul. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

When Sk8 Church started helping out with kids in Steamboat Springs 3 years ago, they had no idea how blessed they would be by the friendships made and lives they are a part of. Buck and Tara Chavarria love helping our children get through some of the rough spots in life and making a difference in the Steamboat community!
Since Sk8 Church started it has run solely on gifts and donations from supportive people and families. The Thursday night dinners, weekend trips and the time Buck gets to spend mentoring the kids one-on-one is so important and it is making a difference, but right now...THIS SUMMER...sk8 Church needs some help to keep these things happening. This all takes money and sk8 Church has a simple plan that I've been asked to help with!
I am one of the parents that has been commissioned to help raise $1,000. I have been touched by Sk8 Church and I am passionate and dedicated to helping get people financially involved. I know $1,000 seems like a lot of money, but if I can get 10 people to donate $100...or 20 people to give $50...even 40 people that can give $25. you will help me achieve the goal that I have been given!
August 15, 2008 is the date set to have the money raised!
Your help is tax deductible and really appreciated. If you have any additional Questions or Input please call Buck or Tara Chavarria (970) 846-6755 or email them: info@christforlifeskatechurch.com
PS. Please make your donation payable to Christ For Life or Sk8 Church
