Whether you're a seasoned foodie or just looking to explore new flavors, restaurant weeks offer the perfect opportunity to sample dishes from a variety of cuisines and chefs without breaking the bank. And Charlotte's Restaurant Week is NO exception!

Queen's Feast, as Charlotte's much loved Restaurant Week is known, returns for its 17th year on Friday, January 17th and runs through Sunday January 26th.  Charlotteans are looking forward to the Queen City's much-loved, bi-annual Restaurant Week. Next week it will be time to once again enjoy a true Queen's Feast and to savor those royal bites! You'll have 10 days to dine like royalty at 100+ participating Greater Charlotte restaurants located in nine surrounding counties at a reasonable fixed prices of $30, $35, $40, $45, or $50 per person for three courses.

Highlights of Charlotte's Queen's Feast:

  • Diverse Cuisine: Queen's Feast showcases a wide variety of cuisines, from Southern comfort food to international dishes, allowing diners to experience the rich culinary diversity Charlotte has to offer.

  • Prix-Fixe Menus: At prix-fixe menus priced $30-$50, participating restaurants offer multi-course meals providing excellent value, as well as an opportunity to sample signature dishes at a fraction of the regular price.

  • Culinary Creativity: Chefs often use Queen's Feast to showcase their creativity, introducing new dishes and unique flavor combinations that may not be available on their regular menus.

  • Exploration and Discovery: Queen's Feast allows diners to venture beyond their usual dining spots and discover new favorites. It's an excellent opportunity to explore different neighborhoods and uncover hidden gems.

  • Social Experience: Queen's Feast helps fosters a sense of community as friends, families, and colleagues gather to enjoy meals together.

  • Support Local Businesses: By participating in Queen's Feast, diners support local businesses, helping the city's culinary scene thrive. It's a win-win situation for both restaurateurs and diners.

4 Tips for Enjoying Charlotte's Restaurant Week:

  1. Plan Ahead: Reservations are highly recommended, as popular restaurants tend to fill up quickly.

  2. Check Menus in Advance: Reviewing the prix-fixe menus beforehand can help you decide which restaurants to visit based on your preferences.

  3. Try Something New: Use this opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and try a cuisine or dish you've never had before.

  4. Share Your Experience: Engage with the event on social media, sharing your dining experiences and recommendations with others.

Charlotte's Queen's Feast: 17 Years Of Feasting

The first Charlotte Restaurant Week® took place in July 2008 and had 42 restaurants participating. In January 2020, the last Restaurant Week before the pandemic shut it down until 2021, some $10 million in revenue was generated for participating restaurants.

Enjoy your local events.

We have an icy day in Maryland and schools are closed for the third day after our Monday snow storm.

Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 hi Sheila, our restaurant sector took a huge hit during the pandemic and now I'm seeing restaurants closing down that managed to survive but not thrive since the pandemic ended.

Jeffrey DiMuria 321.223.6253 Waves Realty hi Jeff... here in Charlotte they've averaged $35-40 for quite some time. A few of the super high end restaurants charge $50... but it's till a huge discount from their normal pricing.

Hi Nina,

The 16 years that we lived near Charlotte, we never missed a Queen's Feast, especially when they started doing it twice a year.  Now that we're in Myrtle Beach, they have a restaurant week here starting next wee

Michael Jacobs hi Michael... exactly my sentiments! :) Trust you are safe from the fires?

Jan 08, 2025 01:45 PM
Michael Jacobs

Nina Hollander, Broker - thank you for asking.  The combination of wind and fire is not a good one.  And many parts of Southern California are experiencing high winds (much more intense than I have ever seen here) plus fires in many neighborhoods across Los Angeles County.  That said, no evacuations in this neighborhood but conditions can and have changed quit quickly since yesterday.  Thank you for asking.

Michael Jacobs Just as I couldn't fully fathom what I was seeing during Hurricane Helene here in NC, I can't fathom what is happening in your neck of the woods even though I'm seeing it in living color on TV. Hopefully, you'll escape needing to evacuate.
