Well Hello Everyone. Some of my AR friends reached out and said I needed to get back to Active Rain , that you wondered where I was. With the New Year comes so many updates and changes. Even the Polar Vortex could not cool down my start to the 2025 Real Estate Market. A Fall through a deck, a knee replacement last year and an ankle replacement in November did not hold me down.
One of the best decisions is adapting to the "Post Covid" Real Estate world was getting rid of my large office office building and large staff. The one thing that remains the same is dedication of a routine. Get new listings. Sell current listings. Close Pending Listings. Secure future listings and repeat. Working mainly through referrals from current and past clients. Referrals from all great friends here on Active Rain. And then a new thought......
Where to secure future business has always been the secret to success in this world. Not to long ago Active Rain was one of my top 3 ways to get new customers and referrals. When their "pull" declined, I graduated to other ways. For me I started a Local Community Page. From there i expanded to news pages and now State wide pages. It means NO buying leads that they share with 10 to 100's of other agents. I get all the leads. I have 14 pages i run. The largest and also a fun way to attract eyes is https://www.facebook.com/everythingnewhampshire/ - I find myself driving all over the great state of NH, I always take pictures of my adventures from the Seacoast, to Lakes Region to the Mountains. I started to share my photos and people loved them. Then those who thought about moving here reached out to me. The next thing you know is I have 45,000 followers on that page alone in a year. This week one of my posts went viral with 3 million views in less than a week.
So Happy New Year follow Active Rain Friends. I will be back here more often to post all of the great stories i have lived the last year. With my ankle, the "boot" came off yesterday. 7 weeks post op. I am walking better and sold my first home of 2025 yesterday. I spend every morning watching the sunrise at Hampton Beach and sharing the photos. I have cut my hours from 16 hours a day - 7 days a week to 10-12 hours a day. Yes its a big different working smarter, not harder. And... Every night i take time to watch the sunset and take in the beauty.
