I remember Sullenberger taking that plane down in the Hudson. When we lose experience we lose guys like this...no DEI for me.

I was a college teacher in 2001. Oh, the students who would turn in a research paper with only Wiki sources...

An interesting assortment of things happened in this week over the years. Hard to believe that Sully landing the jet was 6 years ago already.

Thank you for sharing these memories, Dorie. Events like the Northridge earthquake remind us of the strength and resilience of the communities affected. It's incredible how these moments stay with us and become part of our collective memory.

I appreciate you engaging and contributing to this shared reflection.

Good morning, Dorie... I remember each of these events from 1967 onwards... but the release of the Iran hostages really sticks out in my mind... maybe because of the Israeli hostage situation right now and a presidential inauguration in a couple of days.
