Last week, I blogged about the New Years Day art walk in Addison, around the Addison Circle area. The art installations I covered in that post were part of the carefully planned route that our docent suggested we see. However, there were a few additional stops not on the original plan that we passed. And here they are:
Tucked into a corner in Bosque Park, this well cover is inscribed with information on a freed slave who owned land nearby. Keller Springs Road in the north of Addison is named for him.
This mural, depicting scenes from Addison's past and present, is on the side of one of the (many) Amli apartment buildings, around the corner from the ravens sculpture we saw on the tour.
