As a lifelong Texas Longhorns fan, it’s hard not to feel the sting of disappointment after yesterday's loss at the Cotton Bowl. Two years in a row, we’ve made it to the goal line only to see the season end in heartbreak. No words can describe how gut-wrenching it is to get that close and fall short.
But being a Longhorn means holding onto hope, even in tough times. While this season didn’t end as we’d hoped, I’m already looking forward to what’s ahead—especially the Arch Manning era! It’s time for a new chapter, and I’m excited to see Arch take the helm. Hopefully, the third time will truly be the charm for Texas.
This season had its challenges, and while Quinn Ewers had his moments, I think many of us are ready to turn the page. The future is bright, and I believe Arch has the talent and drive to lead us to greatness.
A group of us gathered at the Foxhole to cheer on the Longhorns yesterday. We came early, decked out in burnt orange, yelled our hearts out, and stayed until the bitter end. That’s what being a Longhorn fan is all about—passion, loyalty, and believing that next year is our year.
Texas will always be my team. Win or lose, I’ll keep wearing orange and cheering them on. Hook 'em, Horns! 🤘
