When The Balance Is Due
Our brains produce 'Happiness Chemicals' that determine an every day approach to living. They shift moods, help control weight through healthy eating and exercise, encourage productivity through positive means, play a huge part in successful personal & professional relationships.

Habits determine behavior in everyday situations. Overall good mental, emotional and physical health makes us feel better and also prevents depression from creeping in. These 4 areas make up the major contributors to that:
🥗 Dopamine | Reward:
Eating healthy food - the satisfaction of making and eating nutritional dishes feeds the mind and body.
Sufficient Sleep - Restful slumber is needed for mental focus, memory and managing stress. Also, for energy, avoiding weight gain plus lowering the risk of heart disease.
Achieving a goal - Remember to celebrate the wins, however small they may be. A little Wooh-hoo after accomplishing something, elevates the moment!
🏋 Endorphine | Pain killer:
Exercising - Walk, hike a trail, jump on a treadmill or ride a bicycle through the neighborhood or sign up for a cycling event.
Laughing - Watching humorous programs or making reservations at a comedy club to laugh until your belly hurts from the exertion is healthy!
Listening to music - Find your groove by tuning in on and turning it up. An eclectic, jazzy station while working or dance to disco if you want to.
☀️ Serotonin | Mood stabilizer:
Sun Exposure - Getting outside to gain beneficial vitamins from the sun can be good for the skin. Moderation for overall, good epidermis health.
Mindfulness - Being aware when interacting of the feelings of others, respectful practices, whether in a personal or professional setting.
Nature walks - Chirping birds, a lizard scampering across the path or a pollen-collecting butterfly flittering amongst flowering plants feeds the soul.
💕 Oxytocin | Love hormone:
Socializing - Break out of a funk by going to a concert for a night of listening to live music, dancing and meeting new people.
Physical touch - Give hugs and receive them, the human touch is healing, builds trust and lifts spirits. Petting a dog or cat works too.
Helping others - As real estate professionals, that is something we do best. Also, volunteering for or giving to special causes elevates the mood.

While it's impossible to strike a perfect balance in life, striving to be the best can produce optimum results. Time cannot be borrowed or turned back and besides, when the balance is due, payment in full is expected and will be collected!
