2025 San Diego Restaurant Week Starts January 26th
No doubt foodies will be thrilled San Diego Restaurant Week is just around the corner, beginning Sunday January 26th and running through February 2nd. This is the 1st of 2 such events for 2025 offering 8 days of wonderful dining opportunities.
San Diegans can enjoy a wide range of food offerings at great prices at 100+ restaurants all around San Diego! Dedicated food lovers can’t go wrong with so many options.
The challenge is making the decision about where to dine, and at how many different places during the 8 days.
San Diego Restaurant Week offers reduced prices on fixed price multi-course menus for lunch, brunch and/or dinner. At some places you’ll find a drink included as a course. Remember that not all restaurants offer 3 meals – some just offer dinner.
Restaurants are found across a wide geographic area, including downtown San Diego, inland/East County, and north to Carlsbad and Oceanside.
There are 4 restaurants participating in my hometown of Carlsbad – Seasons Restaurant, Draft Republic, Casa de Bandini, and Benihana.
Fixed prices range by meal, starting at $20 at lunch, and vary by restaurant. Check out the individual restaurant listings to see the offerings and prices.
2025 San Diego Restaurant week is a tasty way to check out places where you might not normally eat. Why not expand your culinary horizons and dine at places you’ve heard about but haven’t tried.
Some restaurants offer outdoor dining, curbside pick-up/take-out, and deliveries. Don’t assume but check with the restaurant first, depending on your preferences, for pricing and availability. And be sure to check the restaurant hours and meals offered…it might only be dinner!
No doubt you will find some dining options near your home. But why not travel a bit and explore new places. It’s a great opportunity to be adventurous in your dining instead of the same old thing.
Participation in San Diego Restaurant Week 2025 is easy. Tickets are not needed. Simply visit participating restaurants that interest you and take advantage of great dining and special prices.
While reservations are not required, they always make sense, especially for dinner and on the weekend. Don’t forget this is a popular event. It’s better to be prepared with a reservation than have to wait in line or find out there is no room.
If you’re not keen on the Restaurant Week options being offered you can also order from the regular restaurant menu.
Some restaurants offer Open Table reservations directly from the San Diego Restaurant Week website, or from their own business websites.
It’s time to plan brunch, lunch or dinner out during San Diego Restaurant Week, perhaps more than once. All that’s needed is your wallet and a good appetite!
Bon Appetit/Buon Appetito!!
