Where is your number
If I can’t easily find your phone number, neither can anyone else! It’s like hiding or maybe being a secret agent. Buyers and sellers might want to chat, but if they have to embark on a scavenger hunt for your info, they’ll probably text their cat instead!
Where is your number
Since the beginning of ActiveRain, I have interacted with an ActiveRainer daily. There are far too many to count or keep track of, but I’ve contacted members for various reasons. Sometimes, I found their post interesting, had a question, appreciated a comment, or wanted to learn more. Other times, I needed to refer a buyer or seller in their area. And sometimes, I just wanted to chat. I may feel a special connection based on something I experienced or observed that reminded me of that person. My plan for 2025 is to continue reaching out to AR members.
It takes time to look up phone numbers, visit websites, check blogs, and review profiles. If you want your phone to ring, make your contact information available.

Where is your number
Can your number be found if I click on your blog, one of your comments, when you ask a question, your email signature, or your profile?
If your number is easily accessible, it's much more likely that buyers and sellers will call with real estate questions or referrals.
Some prefer to communicate only through text or email, which is time-consuming. I get it—spam calls can be frustrating. However, think about how little time it takes to hang up on an unwanted caller and then block/delete the number. But if you do want your phone to ring, please make your number easy to find
When agents complain that business is slow, here's a reminder.
It's my job to let them know I am in real estate!
It's not their job to remember!
