Totally agree with Jeff Masich-Scottsdale AZ Associate Broker,MBA,GRI  even in other states!

I have owned 8 properties in two different states and currently only own the home we are in. 

Best thing we ever did back in 1989 was to buy a home.  Every property we have owned we made great money on!!  My daughter bought an REO about 4 years ago and she is well over 100K ahead versus what that house would sell for now (in the same condition as she bought).

It is time to buy something again that we can make into a money maker...but will not be selling this one as it fits us well.  (and it has increased in value over 200K since we bought it. So someday...but not now!)

Great comments Mike. Real estate is the gift that keeps on giving over time. Not necessarily for quick profits but slow and steady wins the race. Real Estate over time goes up as it has decade by decade for over 100 years in the US. Jeff

Skin in the game is righ Wayne. And one has to get to the starting line or the race will start. If you don't start one will not finish. The good thing about real estate you don't have to be number one in the race to cash in. There is wealth for everyone, BUT you do have to start the race and not sit idly by. Jeff

Yes real estate is generational wealth. When we moved from NW IN to NW AZ, we paid cash for our home. Last night my husband and I were discussing the "wealth" we now have as the home has increased in value about 4 to 5 times.
