January can be special for many reasons. There is something to be said for being first, right? But along with being placed in the front of most calendars, January is a time when resolutions are made, predictions are forecast, and many sorts of other occurrences can seem both unprecedented yet so typical.
Perhaps it's in the repetitiveness of the yearly scenario that we see the sluggishness of speed. Doesn't that underscore the movement of ordinariness. A contradiction? Maybe, something else. So, here are quotes from some who capture such things much better than this wandering, pondering observer. While they may seem to have little or nothing in common, these words of wisdom tell me more.
