Hi Debra Leisek ,  Oh you should come see it first hand.  We actually have quite a compliment of Alaskans who have settled here.  Last year there was an Alaskan party that had over 60 people that lived her now but originated in Alaska. One of my agents commented that Idaho has alot of the same wildlife, beauty and people, just a longer warmer season to enjoy them.

Hello Rain - while Bonners Ferry Idaho may not "fit" me - I can see the appeal with its idyllic scenery.  And the photos you share enhance it immensely.

We all have our places that we are drawn to.  I have a friend that lives in New York City that came to visit me.  She couldn't sleep because it was too quiet.  The drive to the grocery store was way too far away.  Restaurants were closing about the time she was ready to eat dinner.  She just can not understand why I would want to live in such an unpopulated place.  I would be a fish out of water in her world.

Good morning Rain. I agree with the comments of Michael Jacobs and am a bit jealous of those who seek that kind of living. Enjoy your day.

lol I actually grew up in Vegas, and left as soon as I graduated.  Even as a kid my happy place was in the mountains.  Have a great day
