Hi All, Happy Saturday and weekend wherever you are!
I was leaving a comment on a Nina Hollander, Broker blog and realized I had written an entire blog...so with a few minor changes...I did make it into a blog!!
As many of you know, my 29 year old daughter had brain surgery last week in Aurora, Colorado at the U of Colorado Anschutz hospital to remove a grade 2 Glioma that was found on Jan 2nd as a result of stress from giving birth to our grandson on New Years Eve!
Jaime is still in recovery mode...I can see improvement every day... and we had a pretty good evening last night. We go back in 2 more weeks for a checkup.
Baby Everett celebrated 1 month of life last night!
Great Grandma Carolyn and great-Uncle Bob (Robyn's Mom and Brother) are coming in today to meet Everett and Jaime's brother, Jake, is coming home to check in again from Lincoln.
Going to be a house full. It will be interesting to see how that all goes with her still healing brain!
Everett...aka: Charlie, Junior Whopper, sonny boy, big dog, chubba, Big E, and about a half dozen other names, is doing fantastic!
He likes his Grandpa's singing...and his little jumparoo thing, and is already an expert at filling his Colon full before letting 'er rip!!
As for me...I just finished some Texas Biscotti...and one of Jaime's girlfriends brought over 12 servings of greek yogurt/fruit/and some wierd oatmeal combo. Must say with a bit of cinnamon and honey was quite filling and pretty good!
I have my moments but am doing better in understanding I cannot fix everything like I am used to doing...and...
YEAH! Jaime's new siding is almost finished!
With that I will close and get a few chores done.
Until Next Time...It is Okay to Lean on Others...Not Just Loved ones and Friends....But Even Those You only Know via Social Media. m
