Eighteen years ago, Paul and Susan bought this home, filling it with love and memories. They now hope the new owners will create their own joyful moments here and have shared a heartfelt letter.
''We built 2007 Thistlewood Road in 2007, so it was easy to remember the year our family moved into our new home. My husband and I, and our three daughters, ages 5, 5, and 3, dreamed of living in a colonial, in a brand-new beautiful neighborhood, as opposed to a rancher in an older neighborhood. One of our twins, Lily is wheelchair bound. Our dreams came true, through the kindness of our builders Beazer Homes. Beazer was so helpful in accommodating the house’s floor plans to create an elevator shaft with a door that opened into Lily’s bedroom. On the exciting July day our family moved in, the builders surprised us with the gift of a gorgeous hand-built wheelchair ramp in the garage. The house has been a true dream to live in ever since.
2007 Thistlewood Road has been a perfect home to raise a family, with the kindest neighbors, and some of the best public and private schools in Baltimore. It was a place of happiness and love, with nightly big family meals in our large eat-in kitchen, always with caregivers and friends.
One of our favorite house memories was hosting our annual Girl Scout’s New Year’s Eve party, complete with a 7:30 PM countdown, ball drop, and sparkling apple juice toast. Now our daughters, ages 23, 23, and 21 have grown into the sweetest young women, and have embarked on their adult lives.
2007 Thistlewood is ready again to welcome a new family with new dreams, and surround them with love, warmth, and years of happiness and joy. Susan and Paul"
The owners wrote the above letter for this special home.
