I recently had the privilege of working with some dear past clients—again! Over the past 14 years, we’ve navigated three real estate transactions together, and each one has been truly special.

It all started when I listed their home in Canyon Creek and helped them purchase a stunning Colina Vista condominium. A breathtaking view and a primary bedroom on the main level were their must-haves, and with the market moving fast, I immediately reached out to a trusted sales representative at D.R. Horton. We found the perfect unit, wrote an offer, and they couldn’t have been happier! Interestingly, I also represented another buyer just a few doors down at the same time. That transaction wasn’t just about closing a sale—it was the beginning of a long-term relationship. |
Fast forward to three years ago, when health challenges prompted discussions about transitioning to a senior living facility. At the time, they weren’t quite ready, but this past fall, the decision became clear. They chose a wonderful community near my office, making the transition easier. By December, they had settled into their new home, and we turned our attention to listing their condo.
Then, good karma stepped in! Another agent reached out, mentioning that his clients—who were renting in the community—were eager to buy. They had heard I would be the listing agent and were excited about the opportunity. By Monday, I met with my sellers to officially list the condo, complete disclosures, and finalize the details. They were hopeful this would work out, as the idea of decluttering, making repairs, and staging felt overwhelming.
To their delight, the buyers submitted a full-price, as-is offer with a short three-day option period—and even better, a closing date just before Valentine’s Day! My sellers generously offered the buyers a chance to keep anything left in the condo, and as luck would have it, they wanted everything!
There’s nothing more rewarding than working with repeat clients, guiding them through different stages of life, and ensuring a seamless transaction every time. A quote by Maya Angelou sits on my desk as a daily reminder:
"I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
