Don't be "cute" with your clients and don't make them "dizzy" either.
Considering how easy it is to get a Real Estate License many of us feel the need to show how brilliant we are when we first hit the streets with our new title...
REALTOR.
I remember my introduction to Real Estate when I purchased my first home at the age of 18. My father, a very influential man in Fargo ND at the time, introduced me to his Broker friend Jim. Jim was a very impressive man who owned a mid-sized Brokerage. Jim was a great guy and was very knowledgeable about Real Estate in 1972. I had no idea what Jim's formal education was BUT who knows... Jim could have been a High School drop out and still been able to be a Real Estate Broker.
Where am I going with this? There is nothing wrong with not having a college degree in business, most of us don't, but don't try to overcompensate using words you don't understand and are maybe even mispronouncing.
Be who you are and talk like you talk. Read up on Real Estate matters so you know what you are talking about. Bluffing makes you look ignorant. Tell the truth and be proud of who you are and what you accomplished to become a Realtor.
