The Big Game is this Sunday and just in case you’ve been away …it’s Super Bowl Sunday!!!  Super Bowl LIX!!!

The Streib house will be watching and cheering for the Chiefs!!! Nothing against the Eagles since we have often cheered for them.  However Larry grew up in Lawrence, KS and is a big Chiefs fan. 

 

While I’d love to see a 3-Peat, I’ll be happy because both quarterbacks…Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts are from Texas!

I'm planning on watching

I'm going to a Super Bowl Party

I'll be scrutinizing the ads and hope they are good

With both Quarterbacks from Texas I know the teams and either way win

Definitely need queso and chips

May the best team win....I have my Chiefs shirt ready to wear!

Good morning Kathy. No beer, chips, pizza or chicken wings this year, we are going with chili. Why, I have no idea! I would like to see a three-peat being from Chicago. Also being from Chicago with its sad teams, I can root for the underdog. So If it is a good game, I can't lose. Enjoy your day.

Hello Kathy - while you may assume the game is not necessarily a "must see" television event for me, I have been known to catch a glimpse of it over the years.  I knew Larry was from Kansas, but did it really miss that he was Larry from Lawrence before now.  How could that have passed me by?  Was it a fumble?  Was my mind intercepted?  And will the answer be revealed after we return from a commercial break.  Or perhaps during the halftime show where I will likely be unable to identify anyone?

Hi Kathy,
I do know which teams are playing and will be watching. I don't have a favorite SB food. I'm not really a Wings fan, so I don't get the big deal over them. LOL  I just hope it's a good game.

Good morning, Kathy. Thanks for the mention. As for me... I do know who's playing. Will I be watching, well maybe will check in here and there. Am I going to a Super Bowl party, no. I hate them. I always assume one has a party to watch the game... then I go to a party and everyone is yapping and no one is watching the game. I pay no attention to the ads and really have no preference for food. Maybe, if I was at your house, I'd feel very differently about it!

Yes we're hosting a super bowl party and looking forward to it.  It typically means in one room football is  on and the other room is golf.  Folks kind of go back and forth.  But....the football room is more serious! LOL  Lots of football munchies for sure, chili, meatballs, wings etc. Always too much!
