Why is it that every time you plan on leaving town, its gets busier. I have always said that plan a trip once a month and you will be so busy you can look towards retirement.
Today was one of those days, two request to preview properties that I was not expecting and the good news has both of these call will turn to sales, one of them as early as next week.
The Sonora, CA weather continues to be brutal in the 105 + range and I have been doing lots of watering both at home and home that I will soon be listing its a probate.
As many of you parents will agree our children are our biggest gifts in life and my only child a daughter was born 17 years ago when I was 41.
We are going to have a father/daughter 3 day's and tomorrow I will drive the 4 hours from Sonora to Santa Rosa where she lives with her mom and then on to Eureka CA, where we will dine and stay overnight in the community of Ferndale.
I figured at 17, my day's are limited on how much time we will be able to spend together, so in my mind these day's are important.
I co-own a rental home with a Sonora couple and last weekend during 4th of July the wife at 50 died of heart failure. A active swimmer and a local Sonora teacher that was well liked.
As we have all discussed each day is a blessing.
From Eureka we will travel to Brookings Oregon and spend Saturday on the harbor, taking photo's and of course I must not forget daily driving lessons for my daughter.
I must not also forget this is a mini vacation and no cell phones stuck to my head and "Talking Real Estate" I will check messages in the am and pm and the rest of the time will be quality time.
On Sunday a early morning breakfast in Brookings and then off to Azalea Park to play music.
My other hat for relaxing and hobbies is playing with a Zydeco Band. http://www.thebluesbox.net
This is our 3rd invitation to Brookings and the people are just great with hospitality and a crowd that loves music and dancing.
My other hobby is photography and look forward to posting the 3 day trip on www.Flickr.com
Some of my photo's that you may enjoy as individual photo's or sets are posted at
Every town that I visit, or where we play music, I always try to photograph.
Enjoy your weekend.
