This letter captures the love the owners feel as they say goodbye to their home. It highlights the deep connections we have with our living spaces, making it a perfect sentiment for Valentine's Day.
''We still remember the day we first visited 2322 Sugarcone.
It was a hidden gem nested in the trees. We took a tour through the home appreciating the spacious entry and large rooms and knew that we could make it our home.
It was a labor of love to get the home in the condition it is now.
Peeling away the layers of time – removing overgrown trees and taking down outdated wallpaper, enlarged the windows and updates to numerous to list and we finally started to see the home we have grown to love.
Each morning the home fills with sunlight as a great way to start the day. We have had many great memories. It was a perfect home to host family and friends from across the globe.
When they arrive they have plenty of room to enjoy their own private nook of the home on all three floors. Over the years we hosted family events and kids’ birthday parties with as many as two dozen children and still lots of room for parents and friends.
A favorite spot for the kids has been the arts and crafts room on the lower level where they would be entertained with hours of fun.
Just steps away was the large fenced in backyard with a rolling green lawn which was a favorite spot for outdoor activities such as badminton, bocce ball, and soccer.
We also enjoyed gardening in our greenhouse which doubled as a playhouse.
Birdwatching was another fun activity we shared with lots of colorful birds always visiting. Parents would watch the children from the spacious enclosed porch as an observation deck - or as we affectionately called it – our adult tree house.
It has been a great home to raise a family for over a decade but now as we are soon to be empty nesters, it is time for a new family to enjoy it and create memories of their own. ''
