We loved deeply, laughed often, and embraced the art of compromise—knowing that it is the foundation of a life well-lived together. Through every high and low, we stood hand in hand, facing whatever life had in store. And you, my love, embraced my children and their children, becoming the most loving, adoring Paw Paw, fiercely devoted to our family.
Geno, you weren’t just my husband—you were my rock, my confidant, my greatest supporter. The bond we shared was unbreakable, and the love we nurtured will forever be a part of me. I am endlessly grateful for the time we had together—you were more than I could have ever imagined.
Maya Angelou once said, “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” And Geno, you made everyone around you feel loved, valued, and cherished. That is your lasting legacy.
So today, I celebrate you, our love, and the beautiful memories we created. Though you are no longer physically here, your spirit lingers in the stories we tell and the love that still surrounds us. Not a day goes by without a "Geno story."
