Happy National Home Warranty Day

By
Industry Observer CDRE #01044712

Every year on February 10th, and this year on Monday February 10, 2025, we celebrate unofficial Happy National Home Warranty Day.

Homes are filled with appliances, technology, and other components after curtain time can wear out, and can break down. Each repair expenses can adds up.

A home warranty, covers repair or replacement of items break down due to normal wear and tear. The fallowing appliances and systems our homes need these days.

We can review the value of a home warranty, and learn how a policy works and what they cover, and make sure you have the right coverage for your home.

I want to wish everyone on ActiveRain community a Happy National Home Warranty Day.

Good morning, John... I had no idea there was such a day! But why should I be surprised. I am surprised that I haven't heard from the home warranty companies in my area announcing it. I'm a believer in home warranties... always have one on my house and they have paid out a lot of dollars to me.

Good morning John. Each company has their own coverages and exclusions and it is difficult to compare apples to apples. If you choose a company make sure you are getting what you think you are getting. They can be very beneficial. Enjoy your day.

We just have a repair savings account, and when it reaches 25,000 we start over and invest it.  It's our "warranty" for replacing appliances or getting repairs from the company we choose.

Hello Don Baker great plan to have a repair saving account, then repair or replace appliances. Thank you for the comment.

John Pusa I have only owned two home, and neither of them had a home warranty.  BUT if I ever purchase another home I am going to insist on a home warranty.
