The Town of Castle Rock is located about 30 minutes (29 miles) south of Denver and enjoys a population of 70,687.  The elevation of Castle Rock is 6,202 feet above sea level.   Castle Rock includes Castle Pines and many rural farm areas outside the City limits.

This time of year is typically slower seasonally, but there are more homes on the market this year versus past years.   Rates are still halting some buyers, and values are still increasing ever so slightly. 

 

The highest-priced property sold was $4,880,000 and is located in Castle Park Ranch.   This home was built in 2000.   It has 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a total of 7,697 square feet, and a 3-car garage on 35 acres.    This property went pending in 18 days.

Good morning, Joan... I think many areas have more inventory this January than last. Here in Charlotte we have more inventory, but we also have more demand and we remain predominantly a seller's market with a few exceptions.
