I bet that title got your attention! That is an unofficial club here in The Villages, Florida. Romeo stands for “Real Old Men Eating Out” and it keeps growing to the point they had to split off new groups. There is a membership fee which goes toward the birthday boy of the month. You eat free at the monthly dining out event if it is your birthday month you get to pick the restaurant, if two birthdays you take turns if you can remember from one year to the next.
The normal size group is about 20 real old men, so dinner reservations need to made far out and generally the female server has a great time as the old guys are just being a Romeo! A fun night is when they go to Mexican and wear the sombrero and Longhorn Steak House when they bring out the saddle, for those who can mount it!
Ladies not to worry, many belong to a group that goes out the same night, JUGS! Again, do I have your attention? Just Us Girls!
