Today the City of Brotherly Love turned out big time on Valentine’s Day to show its love for the Philadelphia Eagles, this year’s Super Bowl 59 Champions. It always amazes me when there are large gatherings of people and how well behaved they all can be. Such events are wonderful for the people participating and those of us watching from afar. I have to admit I had a local TV station on all morning and through all the speeches and even now after the celebration is over.
Large crowds are not my thing to do in person, yet I enjoy knowing such good events are happening. I am thankful for the wonderful camera work provided by the local TV stations, taking viewers up and down the parade route, and seeing things above the crowds via drones and helicopters.
Philadelphia has a lot of experience handling large venues and this was one of the biggest in recent years.
It was an amazing season for the Eagles and the players did not hesitate to thank their loyal fans for all their support. And even thought I am not a football fan like Doug, I do enjoy knowing what is happening with our local Philadelphia Eagles! Way to Go Eagles!
