Addicted to activerain.com

Home Stager with Hallmark Sotheby's International Realty & Joyce's Interiors

I signed up approximately 2 weeks ago, since I have gotten familiar with the site and all the valuable information I can't stay away.

I log on first thing in the morning, during the day and late at night.  I can add this to my list of addictions with #1 being shopping, though if I stay at my laptop maybe I won't frequent the stores.

Is this behavior lasting or just a honeymoon phase??

Joyce

It's refreshing to know that I'm not the only activerainaholic out there.

Thanks for your comments.

I'm getting better, but when I first started on AR it was baaaaaaaaddddd. Now I'm finding a balance and I'm too busy elsewhere to spend the time. It is great info, tho.

There are groups here for people addicted to Active Rain. Although, many people just go through a honeymoon stage and back off after the newness wears off.

Hi Joyce: I'm also a newbie on Active Rain and experiencing the Honey Moon stage. It's great! I see these people with like a trillion points and wonder?? How the ....? Hmmm... These guys with a trillion points must be addicts too:) Crazy stuff! All the best!

Joyce,

Great to have you on board the Rain and welcome. Yes, addiction is said to creep in if you don't watch it. Happens to the best of us. Scheduling posting activities can be helpful if you want to stay unaddicted.

Joyce,

It's pretty addictive...........you gotta force yourself away at times. Then other times I get so busy I'm away for a few months but it always lures me back in! It's a fabulous learning tool besides being fun.

Welcome!  It's definately a honeymoon phase thing.  I get on here more during the winter months but not so much when the weather is beautiful and I can be out having fun.

I am also a new 'addict'. This is amazing, all the information at your fingertips, and all the people, all the stories. It is very affirming and reassuring that someday we can all do it!

Joyce...see I told you so! I am trying to invent some gum or maybe a patch but so far I haven't come up with anything. But you can look at the bright side...it will build business and help you network! So it's not bad for you!
