- Property Taxes: The property tax rate in Cross Creek Ranch ranges from 2.6% to 3.3%, depending on your location within the community. Generally, homes in the newer sections have a higher tax rate due to the MUD tax, which helps cover the cost of water and sewer infrastructure. The good news? As the MUD debt is paid down over time, the tax rate will decrease.
- Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs): If you live in a Katy ISD-zoned home, your community falls under MUD #171, #172 or #173. If your home is zoned to Lamar CISD, you’re served by MUD #169 or #170.
