Sunday Morning Routine - An Energizer

It took me a while to do a full mental buy in on this important item. Not because I don't believe its importance, but in Real Estate we tend to think the world will come to an end if we are not available 24/7.

I do my very best in now trying to make my North Idaho Sundays as free of 'Have to Do's' as possible. Not that I don't enjoy getting up and getting things done but they are not on I have to get that done today 'to do list'.

Part of my special treat on Sundays are seen above. Making my own mocha, and being able to enjoy it quietly while enjoying the early Naples Idaho mornings. This morning happens to be a steady, but not hard rain. Not but a week ago it was snow falling.

Making this a bit more special is that during the week I am making the mocha's but put them in a mug for driving to Sandpoint Realty Office. Another treat was the latte maker being a special gift. Added bonus: Since Christmas I am saving a lot of money on my Coffee House Mocha habit. lol

'Saying No' not easy but often times more important than a 'yes'. Being able to push aside the normal hustle and bustle and take a moment to myself is just right.

Better late than never, Mark. My first broker in 1992 told me to start making it a habit for time to myself or I'd burn out quickly. I listened and have followed certain "rules" in my life as to when I'm available for real estate and when not.

Good for you Mark! Honestly I think you'll find along the way that your now, chosen, down down is a real gift you've given yourself. I figured that out years ago when I put on my hiking boots, went out the door and hiked 4 or 5 miles up the mountains almost every day. Sometimes I thought - I really should get to the office earlier. But I got over that one!
