Hello Brian - a deal in real estate can mean putting together a transaction that closes. The business is not as simple as some think - there are many sorts of nuances involved in making success happen.  Inventory levels can be an indicator but not the only one.

Even with inventory increasing I'm seeing prices staying stable. Just gathering data for May numbers and surprised at the outcome. Buyers have many more opportunities but Sellers so far are being reasonable and selling where the sold data tells them.

Brian inventory has been low for several years around here, so competition is high for every home.  Hopefully we will also start to see more home starting to pop up on the market.
