Sandpoint Realty 'Thursday Thought' - February 27, 2025

Sandpoint Realty 'Thursday Thought' brings us to the end of February, but does not mean this past month's quotes should be set aside the rest of the year.

Sandpoint Realty Thursday Thought Happiness

I really like this.  We all know we can not physically be in two different places at the same time.  Why then would our hearts and minds be any different.

The choice then becomes ours as to what direction our hearts, and minds, want to take.  Focus on what we do not have?  Or focus on all that we do have?

The choice not always easy and clear, but I doubt any of us would argue the best direction.  These quotes found on appreciation, over the past month, are but a tiny tip of the tip of an iceberg.  Yet as I have mentioned they opened my eyes to appreciation, and being thankful, open the doors to unimaginable riches, and not those so much of the $$'s.

Make it a great weekend North Idaho, and year ahead, in remembering to appreciate what we have, who we love, and the good all about us.

Agreed Mark. A grateful heart is a joyful heart because gratitude and unhappiness cannot exist together. When we focus on what we’re thankful for, it leaves little room for negativity.

In times of need, focus on what is essential, like getting food when hungry. While holding onto inner strength is important, it's hard to ignore the body's cry for sustenance. Prioritize basic needs first.

Hello Mark... it really is up to us to decide whether we will live with an attitude of gratitude for what we have as opposed to always feeling we don't have enough.

Good evening Mark,

Well you nailed it on this post! We have a choice every day we wake up..be grateful for what we have or angry over what we don't have!

Mark- we may not like to think this but all of us have a choice. We can choose to be grateful for what we have or we can choose to be unhappy...wishing for something else. Why on earth would we make a conscientious choice to be negative or unhappy.

Being happy is often a choice we have to make rather than dwelling on things that make us unhappy, haha.
